Description

Delicious chocolate-coated peanut butter eggs that are easy to make and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar (Confectioners’ Sugar)
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 3 cups Crisp Rice Cereal (Rice Krispies)
  • 2 cups Chocolate for Coating

Instructions

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
  3. Gradually add the powdered sugar to the peanut butter mixture, mixing it in a little at a time until fully incorporated.
  4. Gently fold in the crisp rice cereal, being careful not to crush them too much.
  5. Take about 1 to 1 tablespoons of the mixture and roll it into an oval, egg-like shape. Place each shaped egg onto the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Chill the shaped eggs in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Melt the chocolate using a double boiler or microwave until smooth.
  8. Remove the chilled eggs from the refrigerator and dip each egg into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated.
  9. Transfer the chocolate-coated eggs back to the parchment-lined baking sheet. Add any sprinkles or decorations immediately.
  10. Return the baking sheet to the refrigerator for another 15-30 minutes, or until the chocolate is completely set.
