- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 2 medium oranges (zested and juiced)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup pecans or walnuts (chopped)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Rinse cranberries under cold water, removing stems.
- Zest one orange and juice both; set aside.
- In a bowl, combine cranberries, orange zest, orange juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract; stir until well mixed.
- Gently fold in chopped nuts.
- Spread mixture on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until cranberries burst and mixture turns golden brown.
