Description

A delicious baked dish featuring fresh cranberries and oranges, perfect for a festive dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 2 medium oranges (zested and juiced)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup pecans or walnuts (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Rinse cranberries under cold water, removing stems.
  3. Zest one orange and juice both; set aside.
  4. In a bowl, combine cranberries, orange zest, orange juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract; stir until well mixed.
  5. Gently fold in chopped nuts.
  6. Spread mixture on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes until cranberries burst and mixture turns golden brown.
