This rich and decadent chocolate flourless cake made with dark chocolate is perfect for chocolate enthusiasts.

- 6 oz dark chocolate (70% cocoa), chopped
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 large eggs, room temperature
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch round cake pan and line it with parchment paper.
- Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a heatproof bowl over simmering water until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy (about 5 minutes).
- Gently fold the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture.
- Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then carefully fold it into the chocolate mixture until combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until set but slightly jiggly in the center.
- Allow to cool completely before refrigerating for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Notes
- For a more intense chocolate flavor, use higher cocoa percentage chocolate.
- Serve with whipped cream or berries for added flavor and presentation.
