Description

A delicious and easy crock pot recipe for cube steak and gravy served over egg noodles.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Cube steak
  • 1 package onion soup mix
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Place 1 pound of beef, 1 package of onion soup mix, 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup and 1 cup of beef broth in a 6 quart crock pot.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the beef is tender.
  3. 1 hour before serving, combine 2 tablespoons of cornstarch and 1/2 cup of water together in a small bowl.
  4. Stir the cornstarch mixture into the crock pot and cook on high for 1 hour to help thicken your gravy.
  5. While the sauce is thickening, cook the egg noodles based on the package instructions.
  6. Serve the steak and gravy over the egg noodles and enjoy!
