Description

A delicious and easy recipe for a comforting crockpot green bean and potato dish with bacon and fresh herbs.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 Red Potatoes (Halved)
  • 2 pounds Snapped Green Beans
  • 2 Slices of Bacon
  • 1/4 cup Diced Sweet Onion
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Chopped Dill
  • 3 cups Water or Chicken Broth (See Note)
  • Salt/Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a 4-6 quart crockpot, spray it with non stick cooking spray.
  2. Then, add in all ingredients, fill the slow cooker about 2/3 full with the water or broth. This is typically 3-4 cups.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  4. When serving be sure to use a slotted spoon so the juice can run out.
