Ingredients

  • 6 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: sprinkles or crushed nuts for topping

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine sugar and corn syrup until fully dissolved. Stir in peanut butter until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and fold in the crispy rice cereal until coated.
  4. Press the mixture into the prepared baking dish evenly using a spatula.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips in another bowl or saucepan until smooth; stir in vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the melted chocolate over the pressed mixture and spread evenly. Allow cooling completely before cutting into squares.
